Q: What is your approach to selecting rugs and carpet for your projects?
A: "We typically select in conjunction with wall treatments and textiles. We either go for a solid or a really unique pattern to make a statement."
Q: Are there any STARK styles that are go-to's in your projects?
A: "We pretty much use Avani or Calantha in every project. We love the durability, variety of colors, and the ability to put two colors to get her to create our own design."
Q: What do you take into consideration when choosing the material for the rug or carpet of a particular room?
A: "Stay clear of viscose in heavy traffic rooms! We find that clients are weary of spending on luxury carpets due to pets and kids, but busy patterns mixed with a performance yarn is the way to go!"
Q: Any tips for selecting carpet for a children's room that will remain timeless for years to come?
A: "For durability, we choose wool or nylon. Solids or small patterns go a long way and allow the child to grow with the room."
Q: What is your advice for using rugs and carpet to mix patterns?
A: "We love color-blocking or mixing a large pattern with smaller ones throughout the room."
