Filia

wool

The Filia rug brings an effortless, collected spirit to the Hand-knotted VOL IV collection. Its bohemian composition is defined by an organic interplay of softly irregular forms, tonal variation, and an earthy desert-inspired palette. Subtle shifts between warm neutrals, sun-washed hues, and deeper accents give the design a beautifully lived-in character, while the relaxed pattern feels both expressive and quietly sophisticated.

Hand-knotted in India, Filia is crafted from an exceptional blend of 30% mohair, 30% silk, 20% linen, and 20% wool. With 35 knots per square inch, its artisanal construction gives the surface nuanced definition, while the plush pile height enhances the richness and tactile depth of the fibers. Mohair and silk introduce softness and understated luminosity, balanced by the natural texture and warmth of linen and wool.

As with any hand-knotted rug, subtle variations in texture, color, and knot density are part of its character, ensuring that each Filia possesses a distinct sense of individuality. Fully custom, it can be tailored to the scale and proportions of the space.

A study in natural texture and relaxed luxury, FILIA reflects STARK’s appreciation for craftsmanship that feels authentic, expressive, and enduring.
